CAO Guidance & Course Choice Advice for Students and Parents​

I offer a holistic approach that supports every aspect of teenage life, it’s all connected. Together, we will review your subjects, study habits, stress management strategies, and create a study plan.

We will also analyse your interest test results, explore courses and develop a strategic CAO list. Throughout the process, I provide clear guidance, reassurance.

Appointments:

​

All appointments are conducted online.

Teens are well-adjusted to the online world, and I find the screen-sharing option enhances information retention, as they can see exactly what I'm doing during the consultation.

All Consultations typically range from 1 to 2 hours

Parents are welcome to attend the beginning of the consultation to express any concerns, and they may return at the end for an overview of the meeting.

Which appointment should I choose:

 

Option A – Clear Direction
For students who have a clear study direction and/or have already completed a professional interest assessment.

Option B – Find Your Direction
For students who are unsure what to study and need help finding the right direction. Complete an interest assessment to discover the courses and pathways that best match your strengths and interests.

Option C – CAO List Review
For students who have already done their research and created their CAO list, but would like a second opinion or help identifying and troubleshooting any gaps, concerns or potential issues.

Option A: 

Consultation €250.00. (No Interest Assessment) 1-2 hours

You will receive:

  1. Typed summary of consultation and a tailored list of recommendations

  2. A Level 8 course list 

  3. A Level 7/6 course list

  4.  A Study guide booklet

  5. You’ll have ongoing email support after the meeting

to help you feel confident and fully supported every step of the way.​​

7. Follow up meeting later in the same term if needed

 

Option B: 

Consultation and Interest Assessment €300.00. 1-2 hours

you will receive:

  1. Typed summary of consultation and a tailored list of recommendations

  2. A Level 8 course list

  3. A Level 7/6 course list

  4. Study guide booklet

  5. You’ll have ongoing email support after the meeting

to help you feel confident and fully supported every step of the way.​

6. Follow up meeting later in the same term if needed

 Option C: CAO List Review

 €120.00 1 hour

6th year with completed CAO list

A personalised one-to-one consultation to review your CAO choices and provide expert guidance based on the information you submit in advance.

I will assess your choices, provide personalised advice and recommendations, and help identify anything that may have been overlooked. We can troubleshoot any concerns and ensure your CAO choices are on the right track.

You take the notes, and leave with greater clarity and confidence in your choices.
