Teen Counselling (Ages 12–18)

Being a teenager isn’t always easy. At times, things can feel overwhelming whether it’s school pressure, friendships, family life, or just not feeling like yourself.

I offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what’s going on for you. With over 15 years’ experience working as a Guidance Counsellor in schools, I understand the challenges young people face today and how these can impact both their wellbeing and their confidence.

How I Support Young People

I offer one-to-one counselling in a calm, relaxed, and non-judgemental online environment.

Every young person is different. My approach is warm, practical, and supportive—helping teenagers to feel more in control, more confident, and better able to cope with day-to-day life.

If my service is not the right fit, I will provide referral details to you such as:

What I Can Help With:

Young people come to counselling for many different reasons. Some of the areas I support include:

  • Feeling anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed

  • Low mood or loss of motivation

  • School-related pressure and exams

  • Friendship difficulties or bullying

  • Family challenges or changes at home

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Behavioural difficulties at home or school

My Aim:

I take a practical, down-to-earth and solution-focused approach. I aim to give young people tools they can take away with them, so they leave feeling more empowered, with a stronger sense of self-belief and confidence.

About Me

I’ve been working with young people for over 15 years as a Guidance Counsellor, and it’s something I genuinely care deeply about. Over that time, I’ve had the privilege of supporting teenagers through all sorts of challenges and no two stories are ever the same.

I know that talking to someone new can feel daunting, especially for young people, so I aim to create a space that feels calm, somewhere you can just be yourself without feeling judged.

My experience comes from being a parent, my Degree in Psychology and working in schools, where I’ve supported students not just with their wellbeing, but also with the pressures of exams, friendships, family life, and decisions about the future. This gives me a great understanding of what young people are dealing with day to day, both inside and outside the classroom.
